RACE AND ITS INTRICACIES

The topic of race and ethnicity has been something I have studied and researched these past 2 years while at FIU. To learn more about personal stories having to do with this topic, I read this book and was completely involved and left speechless. 10/10 recommend

Racial issues are not just common in the US but its a worldwide problem. I read this book in my Ethnography course for my major and this is where my interest and passion for understanding racial discrimination and stereotypes was born.

importance of cultural awareness

As a anthropology student, one of the first things I learned was the importance of being culturally aware as well as culturally sensitive. This book gave me a realistic demonstration of this skill. Must read.
